夏休み期間中、毎年恒例のサマースクールイベントを開催しました。
DAY2ではネイティブ講師たちが小さいころ楽しんだアクティビティを行いました！

最初のお楽しみはCOOKIE SPLASH。バタークリームを手作りし、９０年代に流行したようなカラフルでポップなイメージのアイシングクッキーにデコレーションしました。
During the summer holiday, we held our annual Summer School event.  On day 2, we “kicked it old school” and participated in some summer activities our teachers did when they were young!

The first activity was called COOKIE SPLASH, where students were able to make buttercream icing.  They then coloured the icing and swirled it together on the top of their cookies to create a *tie-dye* effect that was popular in the 90`s.

さらにローレン先生の出身国であるカナダのイベントでよく行われているフェイスペインティングも楽しみました。
自分たちがなりたい動物のフェイスペイントをしましたよ。その後はみんなで水鉄砲をつかってアニマルハント。
とっても盛り上がりました！
During the 2nd section, students participated in an activity usually found at Canadian fairs and festivals, face painting!  Students chose one of the many animals and quickly had their face painted.  They then went into the pool for an *Animal Hunt*, where students had to blast the animal picture with a water gun!

また来年もたくさんのみなさんに参加してもらえるといいなと思います。
まだまだ暑さが続きますが、元気に過ごしましょう！
