Blog entry 9/3/12

It’s been a while…
As I mentioned in my earlier blog, I am going to be a father… very soon!  How time flies.  We now know that it will be a boy and it is growing bigger and bigger every day.  I still have no idea about names so if anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate your input!
One thing that is so great about working at the Windmill school is the huge amount of resources we have at this school.  The books we use and have access to are the very same books I saw when I was teaching in England at some very big and established international schools in Cambridge.  These schools had over 20 teachers but WEC has the same amount of books available and the extra pictures, cards and worksheets we have here are much better than those that were available in England.  I am very proud to work in such an environment because it means we can provide the highest level of education and the best textbooks in the world. It makes my life as a teacher so much easier when I have such good books to work with.
It’s almost spring time and I am so happy it is getting warmer again though I am still very worried about influenza as many of our students are still coming down with it. Please look after yourselves and let’s all enjoy the changing season together!
